Three years later, a second Super Bowl will be held at Levi’s Stadium. That’s positive. The bad news is that new concerns about the facility’s security have been raised.

According to the San Jose Mercury News, earlier this month, a melee and a stabbing were caught on camera during a soccer game at the location.

All 49ers’ home games and other events, such as numerous concerts, are held at Levi’s Stadium. It will serve as a venue for the World Cup games in 2026. A knife was snuck through a security checkpoint in the most recent instance.

Later this month, Barcelona will play Juventus at Levi’s Stadium, and on July 28 and 29, Taylor Swift will perform twice there.

Security will likely be acceptable for the Super Bowl. Achieving comparable performance in the interim will be the facility’s task.
