Lewis Hamilton: Confession Puts Him In Difficult Spot
The former Formula 1 World Champion said that he occasionally staged illnesses.
It has come to light that Lewis Hamilton dislikes taking part in Formula 1 testing. In an effort to enhance the Mercedes, the seven-time champion has gone even farther in disclosing his specific fear of the traditional testing.
When Toto Wolff, Hamilton, and Mick Schumacher (the star squad’s reserve) emerged in front of the gathered audience at a Brackley event, everyone in the room started to wonder where George Russell had disappeared to. The young British star was excused by saying he was unwell, but this was untrue.
’44’ then used the opportunity to make an unexpected admission. “Something related to me occurred to me when Toto mentioned that George was sick during our visit to the plant. I have previously taken that approach to avoid exam days because I don’t enjoy it.” Lewis Hamilton stated in a statement obtained by RaceFans, “So when I heard that, I thought, ‘He’s surpassed me, he’s gone to another level.'”
The winless streak of Lewis Hamilton
In actuality, though, the 38-year-old contender needs to straighten things up if he hopes to reclaim his former glory. Mercedes has to get it right with the new single-seater since he hasn’t won a race in the past two years (his last victory was in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in 2021). By the way, on Tuesday, February 14 of next year, the 2024 W15 will be revealed.
That’s right—McLaren decided to reveal the vehicle that Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will drive on Valentine’s Day.
