Soccer Great Lionel Messi Attends Game 4 in Miami
Soccer legend Lionel Messi took a day off to watch his home NBA team Miami Heat go up against the Boston Celtics on Monday night in Game 4 of the playoff series in Miami.
Messi – the Inter Miami star arrived in the arena just before the top-off of the encounter along with teammates Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez.
The soccer stars, some of them wearing Heat jerseys, arrived in the players’ parking garage from where they were taken to their seats in the VIP area.

The eight-time Ballon d’Or winner has also attended an NBA game before it wasn’t a Miami fixture since moving to Miami last year.
His presence, however, could not change the Heat’s fortune as the Celtics won the game 112-88, stretching their lead to 3-1.
Lionel Messi for Inter Miami
Regardless of Miami Heat’s lacklustre run, the Inter Miami are 6-2-3 so far in this Major League Soccer (MLS) season, leading the Eastern Conference with the most points.
In their last game, Messi scored two goals and an assist as Inter Miami thumped New England on Saturday.
The soccer legend has contributed multiple goals in five straight matches – a feat never achieved by any other player in the league. Messi has 9 goals and 7 assists in the last seven matches – most by any player.
The World Cup 2022 winning captain for Argentina has scored over 800 (832 to be precise) goals in his career overall, second only to Portugal captain Christiano Ronaldo who has 885 goals in 1217 games so far.
