The applicants want to remain anonymous because the promotion has not been officially announced.

Since December 2021, Ferreira has not participated in any competitions. The 38-year-old Fortis MMA competitor will attempt to end a three-fight losing streak after losses to Beneil Dariush, Gregor Gillespie, and Mateusz Gamrot.

Before that, Anthony Pettis, the former UFC lightweight champion, was submitted by Ferreira, who was on a six-fight winning streak.

Johnson has triumphed twice in his last three games after losing four. A unanimous decision victory over Marc Diakiese in December at UFC on ESPN 42 is what the “Ultimate Fighter 12” finalist is coming off of.

For the UFC’s May 20 event, the current lineup consists of the following:

1- Karolina Kowalkiewicz vs. Vanessa Demopoulos

2- Edmen Shahbazyan vs Anthony Hernandez

3- Rodrigo Nascimento vs Ilir Latifi

4- Hayisaer Maheshate vs Viacheslav Borshchev

5- Michael Johnson vs Diego Ferreira
