Oscar de la Hoya Mocking Eddie Hearn’s Boxing Prowess
The two promoters’ ongoing conflict
After the appearance of a video on social media featuring Eddie Hearn sparring with a partner, Oscar de la Hoya made fun of the Englishman’s boxing prowess.
According to Talk Sport, the promoter was shooting a commercial for Drip canned mineral water, which Big Zuu, a British rapper, founded and is now an official partner of Matchroom.
The commercial features an altercation between Zuu and Hearn in the streets, followed by a press conference where they announce their battle and a simulated brawl. Big Zuu finishes the scene by sharing another Drip can with Hearn.
Golden Boy is making fun of a video that shows Hearn on the set of a movie, punching pads that a partner in combat is holding.

The English promoter was throwing blows while sporting a blue robe, all without sacrificing his grace.
Oscar de la Hoya laughed along with two laughing emojis and said, “Haha,’silver spoon’ Eddie.”
As noted by Talk Sport, the two promoters had to create an alliance last week in order to prepare for Devin Haney vs. Ryan Garcia. They have a history of run-ins and back-and-forth.
That’s because ‘The Dream’ had included Hearn in his staff and had previously produced a number of Garcia fights, but Golden Boy represented Garcia and planned the event.
