Packers, Ravens, & Broncos Will Practice Together
During training camp this summer, Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur announced that his club will practice jointly with the Denver Broncos and the Baltimore Ravens.
Before their preseason game on August 18, the Packers will go to Denver to practice with the Broncos. Then, on August 24, they will have practice at Lambeau Field with the Ravens.
According to LaFleur, the Packers will work with the Broncos one day and the Ravens the next in an effort to cut down on the typical fighting that occurs on the second day of joint practices.
LaFleur remarked, “I enjoy being exposed to new systems and difficulties. It enables you to play your beginnings in a more regulated environment for a little while longer. You receive some excellent work.”
Except for 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic interfered, the GBP have practiced together with a different squad every season under LaFleur. The Cleveland Browns were to practice with the team.
Before their preseason games the previous year, the Packers trained alongside the Cincinnati Bengals and the New England Patriots.
“It allows our team to grow closer together,” LaFleur remarked.
