Rashee Rice: Target Of Police Manhunt After Vehicle Collision
One of the cars involved belonged to Kansas City Chiefs star
Rashee Rice, the outstanding wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, is being sought by Texas authorities after his automobile was involved in a serious collision in Dallas.
About 18:20 local time on Saturday, March 30, an accident occurred in the northeast of the city. The teenage NFL player is being sought after, according to a police complaint.
Rice was selected in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft and went on to win a Super Bowl after spending four years playing NCAA college football in Dallas with Southern Methodist University. Rice was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, which is located 32.9 miles away from Dallas.
By Sunday, March 31 at 7:00 ET, Rashee Rice had not yet been seen in Dallas County jail, despite the fact that it is unclear if he was operating the vehicle or whether anyone was injured. As stated by the Dallas Morning News, it is also unclear if he is being charged.
So, even if he hasn’t been apprehended by the police yet, he does have a connection to the city and could legitimately be in the area—perhaps spending the off-season from football with his family.
The fortunate 2023 season for Rashee Rice
Rice, who is 6 feet 1 inch tall, emerged as the Chiefs’ second-best wide receiver the previous campaign with 79 catches and 938 receiving yards, demonstrating the quarterback team’s strong favoritism toward him.
In the postseason, he produced 26 receptions for 262 yards and a touchdown, leading the team in touchdowns as well. He demonstrated his worth as a crucial player for the team by finding the end zone seven times.
After Mahomes‘ game-winning pass to Mercole Hardman in overtime, the Chiefs defeated the 49ers 25–22 to win Super Bowl LVIII. The Chiefs gained the advantage because the 49ers misinterpreted the overtime regulations, which left Mahomes speechless.
