Seattle Mariners Signed Luis Urias After Season Troubled By Injuries
After a deal with the Boston Red Sox for pitcher Isaiah Campbell, ESPN announced that Mexican shortstop Luis Urias will appear for the Seattle Mariners in the 2024 MLB season.
Playing third base, shortstop, and second base, Urias had a tough season last year, missing 52 games for Milwaukee and Boston due to injuries.
Due to an injury to his hamstring sustained while with the Milwaukee Brewers, Luis Urias missed the first two months of the 2023 season. At the end of the season, he was dealt to the Red Sox. Playing for the Red Sox through the completion of the regular season, he participated in 32 games.
