Son of LeBron James Bronny James Under Intensive Medical Treatment After Cardiac Arrest

The very young, Bronny James of USC is doing well and has been discharged from the hospital following a heart episode during exercise. He plays from University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles.

During a basketball practice at USC’s Galen Center on Monday, Bronny James, the son of LeBron James, experienced a medical emergency and was taken directly to the hospital. According to a statement from the James family, the 18-year-old experienced cardiac arrest.

He was later discharged from the intensive care unit in a stable state.

The message states, “Bronny James experienced a cardiac arrest yesterday while practicing.” Bronny was treated by medical personnel, who then transported him to the hospital. He is presently stable and out of the intensive care unit.

“We want quiet and respect for the James family, and we will inform the media as more information becomes available.

LeBron and Savannah would like to publicly express their gratitude to the USC athletic department’s medical personnel for their extraordinary efforts and commitment to the safety of their athletes.

Bronny James, who averaged 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists per game last season, was a top recruit out of Sierra Canyon High School. In May, he chose USC over Oregon and Ohio State, becoming the “first one out of the James Gang to go to college,” according to his father.
