The Top 10 Draft Prospects for NFL 2024

The 2024 NFL Draft will soon be here. The Arizona Cardinals are the ones who will start the clock.

The 2024 first-round selection of the Houston Texans was traded to the Cardinals on draft day in addition to their pick in the draft. The Texans and Cardinals are predicted to be among the worst NFL clubs this season. 1. QB Caleb Williams of USC

Williams is the front-runner to be the first choice in the upcoming draft, but we’ll have to wait and see how the forthcoming season plays out.

2. Marvin Harrison Jr. of Ohio State

One of the most promising receiving prospects in recent memory is Harrison. He has an illustrious ancestry and everything else. Harrison had an unending highlight reel last season, with 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns. Although a quarterback or two will likely be selected before him, he could be the best prospect in the draft.

3. North Carolina QB Drake Maye

As a redshirt freshman, Maye shocked everyone last season. He was the ACC Player of the Year and quickly established himself as a promising NFL prospect. Maye should be aware of the same cautions: In their final season before the draft, quarterbacks tend to be targeted more often than any other players. It’s also feasible that Maye keeps improving and challenges Williams to be the best quarterback in the class.

4. Notre Dame OT Joe Alt.

If the surname seems familiar, it may be because Joe’s father, John Alt, was selected in the first round in the 1984 NFL Draught by the Kansas City Chiefs and played tackle in two Pro Bowls. Joe Alt is powerful and prominent. Last season, he received the highest run-blocking grade of any college football tackle by Pro Football Focus and did not allow a sack in 406 pass-blocking snaps. He also received the highest overall quality of any college football tackle.

5. The Penn State OT “Olu Fashanu”

It was a great surprise when Fashanu decided to stay at Penn State for another season instead of entering the NFL Draft. In this year’s draught, he would have been one of the first offensive linemen taken. Fashanu will reward clubs searching for a fundamental left tackle the following year. He’ll face up against Alt for the position of OL1.

6. TE Brock Bowers of Georgia

Few tight ends will be selected in the top 10, but Bowers stands out. He played a significant role in Georgia’s two consecutive national championship squads. Through his first two seasons, Bowers has 1,824 receiving yards, 20 receiving touchdowns, four rushing touchdowns, and more. This features a touchdown run on a jet sweep for 75 yards. This is a rare talent for the position, and he will go high in the draft.

7. DE Jared Verse of Florida State

Verse began his college career at Albany, where he excelled. He later transferred to Florida State, where he had 17 tackles for loss last season, including nine sacks. Over the upcoming season, his pass-rushing skills will garner much attention.

8. OLB for Alabama Dallas Turner

The next Crimson Tide defender to be selected highly in the draft is likely to be Turner. He earned 8.5 sacks while playing for Alabama‘s defense as a freshman. While his sophomore season stats (four pockets) could have been more impressive, he will have the opportunity to excel this year.

9. J.T. Tuimoloau from Ohio State

Against Penn State the previous year, Tuimoloau demonstrated his potential. He had two sacks, two interceptions (one of which he returned for a score), a forced fumble, a recovered fumble, and two interceptions. The top defensive prospect to commit to Ohio State since 2000, he was ranked No. 7 overall by Rivals in the 2021 recruiting class. He ought to develop further.

10. CB Kool-Aid McKinstry of Alabama

By the end of his first season at Alabama, McKinstry was a starter, which is an impressive accomplishment. He received a couple of All-America nominations and was named to the first team of the SEC by coaches and the media. McKinstry was a standout cornerback last season and averaged 15.8 yards on punt returns.
