Josh Allen Gave Moving Tribute To Stefon Diggs After Bills’ Exit
The Houston Texans and Stefon Diggs agreed to a one-year contract.
After his departure from the Buffalo Bills, quarterback Josh Allen thanked his close friend and former colleague Stefon Diggs.
Allen said he sent Diggs sincere messages expressing gratitude for his achievements on and off the field in his first public remarks following the trade.
” Indeed, I texted him to express my gratitude to him for everything he did for me, and I received a reply back.” “I will always hold a special place in my heart for him, treat him like a brother, and send him my best wishes.”
Allen said to reporters on Thursday
Allen lost both his main target and a beloved teammate when Diggs, a four-year Bills player, was dealt to the Houston Texans earlier this month.
Diggs excelled during his time in Buffalo, regularly exceeding 1,100 yards of receiving per season and being selected to four straight Pro Bowls.
Thinking back on Diggs’ influence, Josh Allen said,
“I will always love that guy like a brother. He was quite meaningful. Take a look at the numbers. Numerical data is reliable.”
Allen was selected to two Pro Bowls during their time together, indicating that Diggs was a major factor in Allen’s development as a quarterback.
Allen acknowledged the difficulties of losing Diggs, despite his departure, as a key player in the team’s accomplishments.
Josh Allen is still appreciative of the influence Diggs’ exit had on his career, even as the Bills work through the fallout from his departure.
“The receiver who shaped me into the quarterback I am today will always be a part of my memories of (Stefon).”

Diggs’ exit signals the end of an era in Buffalo, but Allen and the Bills are ready to take on the difficulties ahead in their quest for on-field success.
