Tiger Woods Congrats Scheffler, Finishing In Top 20 In Albany
After Sunday’s win, Woods reached out to Scheffler and his wife.
When the legendary Tiger Woods greeted Scottie Scheffler, who finished in 18th position at the Albany Golf Course in The Bahamas, he appeared astonished. Scheffler had topped the 2023 Hero World Challenge, a competition held in December to raise money for his organization.
Following the win on Sunday, Woods walked over to Scheffler, and his wife to shake hands and offer his congratulations on yet another victory as the top player in the world. Tiger posted a statement on Twitter as well.
Every December, Tiger Woods holds the Hero World Challenge, which is attended by a selected few of the world’s best players.
Although it is still an unofficial event, the tournament was founded in 2000 and is now scheduled on the PGA Tour schedule.
