Former WWE Referee, Earl Hebner Disputes Claims About Merchandise Theft

In his recently released book, “Earl Hebner: The Official Story,” legendary WWE referee Earl Hebner has revealed fascinating insights about his lengthy career.

The book explores Hebner’s experiences in the wrestling profession, giving readers a behind-the-scenes peek at the business.

Hebner recently spoke with Steve Fall and revealed some fascinating tales. He also provided details about the well-known twin referee angle involving Ted DiBiase, Andre the Giant, and Hulk Hogan.

Hebner refuted claims of theft of items.

Hebner’s supposed exit from WWE was one of the interview’s most notable revelations. Hebner made it clear that these allegations were untrue, notwithstanding persistent rumors of goods theft.

“I accompanied a man, and the goods were purchased from the same vendors as WWE.” “The entire situation, though, was that when Johnny brought in — when WCW entered. Recall that Johnny intended to employ their operatives, which is why many of the agents began to vanish. My sibling was also an agent. He was also the right-hand man to Vince.”

“Thus, everything about my making the t-shirts and everything else was a huge lie. That’s right, Johnny let me go because he wanted to get rid of my sibling. That is the way it came to pass. Why would I turn down a job paying $250,000 a year for a $12 t-shirt? It was all a deception, you know; the truth was never revealed. However, I just continued moving forward and visited other locations.”
