Only One Thing Can End Victor Wembanyama’s Career; Gilbert Arenas

Gilbert Arenas

One of the most anticipated NBA players in history is Victor Wembanyama. Some predict he’ll be named alongside LeBron James and Michael Jordan when all is said and done. Gilbert Arenas is eager for the Frenchman to join the league, except for one concern.

Arenas, 41, told TMZ Sports that Wembanyama shares the same basketball IQ as some of the best NBA players, such as Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, and James.

When playing against Joel Embiid, Giannis Antetokounmpo, or other prominent men in the NBA, Wembanyama, 19, stands at 7 feet 4 inches tall and possesses a lean build that scares some critics.

Arenas claims he has always played against more prominent players and has still found success, so he is not very concerned about Wemby’s build.

According to Arenas, Wembanyama‘s feet are the only thing that may end his NBA career.

Are there issues with Victor Wembanyama’s feet?

“That’s the only thing I think will slow him down is [his] feet.”

“Other than that, as long as he’s healthy, I don’t see anyone stopping the progression in his dominance.”

Due to the force of landing on the ground after a dunk, rebound, etc., big guys are infamous for suffering foot problems. Thus Wembanyama should prioritize his health right away.

The San Antonio Spurs will choose Wemby with the first overall choice in the 2023 NBA Draft, hoping he will help the team win a couple more championships.

David Robinson and Tim Duncan are two of the finest NBA players ever. They both enjoyed success with the Spurs, and they will help Wembanyama achieve the same success.
