Will Harris To Sign One-Year Contract With Saints
The Saints are giving their secondary a little more depth.
Will Harris has signed to a one-year contract with New Orleans, according to NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo.
After spending his first five seasons with the Lions, Harris, 28, was selected by the team in the third round of the 2019 draft. He has experience playing cornerback and safety in the league. In 2021, he made 17 starts for Detroit.
Playing more of a special team’s role, he had 17 appearances in 2023, with two starts. 18% of defensive plays and 65% of special team’s plays were played with him on the field.
Will Harris, who has played in 81 games with 40 starts, has 14 passes defensed, 2 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries to his credit.
