Nacho Fernandez Moving To MLS From Real Madrid
The defender isn’t after financial gain; instead, he is ending his time in Spain.
Nacho Fernandez has made the decision to leave Real Madrid on June 30. He has also already selected where he wants to go on a new journey, which is the Major League Soccer (MLS).
Although his career in football continues through the North American league, the Los Blancos skipper has turned down other offers with larger financial incentives.
While he came dangerously close to calling it quits during the previous year, he changed his mind and decided to go on for another season, the concept has evolved during the season.
With Karim Benzema‘s departure, he received the incentive of becoming captain, which more than fulfilled his destiny of being in the United States. As of right now, nothing new has inspired Nacho.
Their quest of qualifying for the Champions League remains alive as they want to eliminate Bayern Munich from the competition. They have already won the Spanish Super Cup and will do the same with La Liga.
All season long, Nacho has been unwavering in his belief that it is not appropriate to play one more season in the heart of Spain, and he expressed this belief even at the beginning of the season.
The results of the last few Champions League matches support this. The transformation in Munich, a situation he did not completely comprehend, was the last straw to remove all questions, so to speak.
He is unquestionably committed, and he will never give up. Absolute professionalism dictates that he will give it all for Real Madrid in his final moments as a player; even after he departs, the club will always be in his thoughts.
Other Options for Nacho Fernandez
He is leaving to try other things other than football, not because he is looking to make more money. He would have signed with a Saudi league team by now if it were for the former, but that isn’t the case. Currently, he is set on traveling to the Major League Baseball (MLS), even though he has considered playing in Europe.
When Nacho had the chance to join the Italian champions, Inter Milan, who had been very interested in him the previous season, decided to reverse their desire for a change of scenery.
