Timberwolves’ Rudy Gobert Fined for $75000
The National Basketball Association (NBA) on Tuesday fined Minnesota Timberwolves’ star Rudy Gobert for a whopping $75000.
The penalty comes after the Timberwolves’ center made an inappropriate gesture that according to the NBA “questioned the integrity of the league and the game officials.”

It was imposed after the Timberwolves lost 115-107 to the Denver Nuggets in Game 4 of their conference semifinals playoff series on May 12 at Target Center.

The Executive Vice President and Head of Basketball Operations, Joe Dumars, announced the development on Tuesday. In a statement, Joe said the hefty fine was imposed keeping Gobert’s history of unprofessional conduct towards the game officials.
The last time Gobert made an inappropriate gesture towards the game official, he was fined $100,000.
