Nikola Jokić, Jayson Tatum, LeBron James Star in 2023-24 All-NBA Teams

The NBA announced its All-NBA teams on Wednesday featuring several big names including Nikola Jokić, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Luka Dončić.

Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokić, who was picked as the Kia NBA Most Valuable Player this season, and Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander headlined the Kia NBA All-NBA First Team.

Other players on the first team are Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jayson Tatum, and Luka Dončić.

Jokić and Gilgeous-Alexander have achieved this accolade for the first time, while Antetokounmpo has made it to the first team for the sixth consecutive time, Dončić fifth and Tatum for the third time on the trot.

Kia All-NBA Second Team

The 2023-24 All-NBA Second Team comprises of New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards, Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant, LA Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard and Los Angeles Lakers forward-center Anthony Davis.

This is the first entry for Brunson and Edwards, the 11th for Durant, the sixth for Leonard and the fifth for Davis.

Kia All-NBA Third Team

Meanwhile, the 2023-24 Kia All-NBA Third Team includes Lakers forward LeBron James, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis, Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton and Suns guard, Devin Booker.

This is Booker’s record 20th consecutive entry in any of the first, second, or third teams since 2004-05. This is also the 10th All-NBA Team selection for Curry and the second for both Sabonis and Booker.  Haliburton is the only first-timer.

The global panel of sports writers and presenters selected the five players for the NBA All-NBA First Team and as many players for the second and teams at any position. Players who received two points for each first team vote and one point for the second team vote.
