The Super Bowl winners’ custom of visiting the White House following their Lombardi Trophy victory was upheld by the Kansas City Chiefs. On a regular basis, the coaches and players listen intently as the US President, Joe Biden cracks a few jokes.
Joe Biden received a legendary gift from the Chiefs. Happily accepting it, Biden put it on right away for the meeting in the White House courtyard. He appeared pleased to have it.
The Chiefs players’ “parade” of elegance and grace began when they arrived at the White House. To the surprise of many, Travis Kelce opted for a disorderly suit, while Patrick Mahomes displayed his elegance. Each player boarded the bus that would transport them to the ceremony sporting their best attire.
As he invited Travis Kelce to the stage and gave him the microphone, President Joe Biden wanted to briefly highlight Kelce during the occasion. As Kelce approached him, the Chiefs and he were lucky enough to exchange a few sharp remarks that made the president and everyone else in attendance chuckle.
