In the year’s second Masters 1000, a total of $17.6 million in prize money was contributed by competitors, with the winner receiving $1.1 million as a pleasant early payout.
However, it is far less than what Grand Slam champions are paid. For instance, the Spanish winner earned $2.9 million when Alcaraz defeated Djokovic in that historic Wimbledon final in 2023.
When does Miami Open Final take place?
Even though he is aiming for a 13th ATP title, Sinner’s current record of 12 titles is far from what he experienced at the beginning of 2024. After defeating Daniil Medvedev in a historic five-set match, the 22-year-old achieved his maiden Grand Slam in his semifinal debut.
The most significant winning margin was 6-3 for a set in the three hours and forty-four-minute marathon between the two players. The match was fiercely contested the entire time. After Djokovic in 2008, Sinner, who is 22 years old, became the youngest victor of the men’s Australian Open.
Since winning the 2017 Cincinnati Open, 32-year-old Dimitrov is vying for both his second Masters 1000 title and his tenth ATP Tour singles championship. In 2023, he was defeated by Djokovic in the Paris Masters, and he is seeking revenge.
